Old Time Boat Co. has restored more than one hundred boats since 1976 including “Idyll Oaks”, a 1924 28’ Hutchinson for the Antique Boat Museum in Clayton, New York. “Idyll Oaks” was the feature boat at the 40th Anniversary Antique Boat Show & Auction. It was the boat that inspired the first antique boat show and was built at Hutchinson Boat Works, Alexandria Bay, New York.

“Dauntless”, a 38’ 2000 Commuter/Express Cruiser owned by J. W. Marriott, Jr. which took a first place in reproduction at the Lake Winnipesaukee, New Hampshire Boat Show. The bare hull was built in Australia and the completion and alterations were performed by Old Time Boat Co.

“Maxine”, a 1917 custom built 33’ motor launch once owned by Henry Ford and was on display at the Ford Museum for many years.

“Silver King”, John Ringling’s Ditchburn Gold Cup Racer, was sold and refinished by us. This 27’ wooden craft was built in 1927 on Muskoka Lake, Ontario, Canada for Mr. Ringling.

“Wings”, a 1927 Ventnor race boat powered by a 650 hp Kermath V-12 Sea Raider engine. “Wings” won the Governor’s Trophy in 1930 and many other races during her career.

“Why Not”, a 1929 28’ Chris Craft triple cockpit with an original A-70 engine is a boat that was owned and raced by Jack Rutherford in the 30’s in Miami, FL, Redbank, NJ and Annapolis, MD.

“Anejo”, a 20’ Chris Craft Custom, two 1929 38’ Chris Craft Commuters, “Althea” and “Copper Star”, a 20’ Chris Craft Sportsman,

“Mr. Mooney”, for the son-in-law of the original owner who gave it as a birthday gift to his father-in-law. We were privileged to deliver it to the party!

“Lady Lakeside”, hull #300 Chris Craft triple for the Lakeside Inn, Leo II, III and IV for the Johnson family and “Doozie”, a 20’ Dodge and a Gar Wood for Lindsey Hopkins.

We completely redid a 1965 18’ Chris Craft Super Sport for its original owner that was completely destroyed in Hurricane Charlie. The owner was our very first customer. You will find many of our restorations at Boat Shows through out the country.

Currently Doug has taken the lines off another boat and is building an E Service Runabout for a customer whose father owned one. He has just completed new decks on a 20’ Chris Craft Riviera and will be putting on a new bottom as well. Upon completion the boat will be shipped to Germany. Maintenance work is also being done on a 20’ Chris Craft Custom.
